For over 20 years, 651 ARTS has been dedicated to supporting and celebrating the multi-faceted work of contemporary performing artists of the African Diaspora. By making a donation to 651 ARTS, you support:
- ON STAGE: Live Performance. 651 ARTS presents a wide array of contemporary performance works annually.
- EDUCATION: Education and Community. We’re putting artists in our schools — giving public school students the opportunity to engage with some of the world’s most creative minds.
- AFRICA: Exchange with Africa. We’re building bridges between the U.S. and Africa. 651 ARTS provides support and access to contemporary African culture including presentations, tours, residencies, and cultural exchange between U.S.-based and African artists through 651 ARTS’ Africa Exchange program.
- ARTISTS: Supporting Artists’ Lives and Creativity. 651 ARTS provides the space, finances, marketplace advocacy and guidance needed for emerging and established artists to create new work through our Artist Development Initiative.
